Some things I can understand. A hurrying person, taking a risk. A bus driver not quite paying attention. A swerve to avoid a head on collision... One person in the wrong seat… A miracle nobody else was hurt. Miracle. But not for the person in the wrong seat.
It could have happened at any time, to anyone, it is just bad luck. I say, ‘These Things Happen,’ and I breathe in and tell myself it can’t be helped, and I breathe out and tell myself to breathe in again.
Some things I can’t understand.
What the hell was he doing on a bus?

What readers are saying about Forgiveness:
I met you at the Festival at Red Lion square at your packed workshop in a small room on the top floor. I stayed behind with a couple of other women. I bought your book. I was struggling with forgiveness. Did not have a clue how to do it or what it really meant. I would profess to 'forgive' but not really... I read your book this week whilst in Jamaica on an extended vacation... It was time. I was ready to receive. An awesome read. Thank you for writing. I have quoted from the book on my facebook page. Credited you and hope that others buy the book. I now understand the process of forgiveness. I am experiencing how enriched my life is in the practice of forgiveness. I started with my mother about a year ago trying to work it all through and your book gave me the final umphhhh. In relation to my partner, I needed to forgive him or end the relationship. I choose to forgive and it has enhanced our relationship no end. Thank you.

It’s funny, moving, profound, and it offers so much hope.

Forgiveness operates at many levels, at one and the same time an engaging story that tugs at the heart strings and a journey of discovery laden with spiritual truths in a modern world setting. It is fast moving, intriguing and at times laugh out loud funny.

I wanted to write to say how much I enjoyed your book. Lots of the thoughts resonated with me and I have used the concept of the yellow dress with many clients to help them find their way forwards.

Easily readable, contemporary, thought provoking
I thoroughly enjoyed Forgiveness. I found the style easy to read, the story was bang up to date & I could easily identify with the central character, Maggie, & whilst the story get me gripped it made me question my own attitudes to the themes of the story - highly recommended!

I finished reading Forgiveness last night - it is a brilliant, brave and shining book. I felt emotionally quite cleaned out by the time I got to the end - I imagine that is the effect it would have on most people, though it stirred chords for me in particular because my first wife died of cancer at the age of 33.
